Chris Carlin is one of the most popular and richest Sportscaster who was born on September 16, 1972 in United States.
He formerly broadcast Minor League Baseball for the Geneva (1993) & Williamsport (1994–95) Cubs – currently known as the Williamsport Crosscutters. He also called college football games for Bucknell University and did both radio studio hosting and preseason play-by-play for the New York Giants radio and television (for pre-season) broadcasts for several years. Carlin has also worked on broadcasts of men’s lacrosse for the NCAA and the now-defunct NFL Europa on the NFL Network.
Carlin spent the first 13 years of his professional career at WFAN in New York. Beginning as an intern in 1995, he worked his way up to the position of producer for the Mike & The Mad Dog Show, co-hosted by Mike Francesa and Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo. Carlin produced the show for 6 ⁄2 years, during which time his on-air role grew with the station. He briefly hosted overnights, and served as sports anchor on the Imus in the Morning program (2005–2007) & Boomer & Carton program (2007–2008.) In addition, he hosted The Morning Warmup, a one-hour pre-show for Boomer & Carton.

While at SNY, Carlin co-hosted Loud Mouths, a sports debate program similar to that of ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption, from its inception on March 24, 2008 until his departure from the network. Also, he and on-air partner Bob Ojeda co-hosted pre- and post-game telecasts for New York Mets games on SNY for five seasons, from 2009–2013. He also hosted SportsNite, SNY’s nightly sports recap program.
On December 19, 2017 Carlin replaced longtime sports radio host, Mike Francesa, on the afternoon drive on WFAN 660 in New York City. He was joined with Maggie Gray and Bart Scott to form the afternoon team. Carlin and Scott began hosting on December 18, 2017, the Monday after Francesa’s last show. On September 11, 2019 Carlin announced that he would be leaving WFAN after his show that day.
