Sinéad Marie Bernadette O'Connor is an Irish singer and songwriter who became famous in the late 1980s with her debut album The Lion and the Cobra. O'Connor achieved worldwide success in 1990 with a new remix of Prince's song "Nothing Compares 2 U". Since then, when pursuing a career in singing, she sometimes got into controversy, partly because of her words and gestures. These include being ordained a priest, despite being a Roman Catholic woman and expressing strong views on organized religion, women's rights, war and child abuse. In addition to ten solo albums, his work includes several singles, movie songs, collaborations with other artists, and appearances at charity concerts. In 2017, O'Connor changed his name to Magda Davitt. After converting to Islam in 2018, she changed to Shuhada 'Sadaqat. However, she continued to record and perform under her birth name.
